Bergey's purchases Tom Forsyth Chevrolet in Zieglerville
|
 ZIEGLERVILLE, PA - Bergey's has
purchased Tom Forsyth Chevrolet located at Routes 29 & 73 in
Zieglerville PA. Former owner Tom Forsyth has retired after 40 years
in the auto business. Tom and his parents purchased the Chevrolet
dealership from Adolf Legler on October 1 1966. The dealership has been
renamed Bergey's Chevrolet of Zieglerville and is a sister dealership to
Bergey's Chevrolet in Colmar. The acquisition of a second Chevrolet
dealership will enable Bergey's to better serve their customers
throughout southeastern PA . In the announcement made December 13 to
employees Bergey's officials and managers extended a warm welcome to
the employees at Tom Forsyth Chevrolet. The staff at Bergey's Chevrolet
of Zieglerville is looking forward to serving your sales service and
parts needs at our newest dealership located at the intersection of
Route 29 and 73 in Zieglerville.

Bergey's Announces Not One, But Two GM Hot Button Winners!
|
 FRANCONIA, PA - Richard A. Lesher of Mainland, PA, visited Bergey’s GMC Buick in Franconia, PA, early on Saturday morning, May 14th, and registered with his sales representative, Rob Reineke. He pressed the OnStar button and won a new 2006 Buick Rendezvous! A few days later, on May 17th, Renee James of Perkiomenville, PA visited Bergey’s Chevrolet in Colmar, PA, around noon, and registered with her sales representative, David Rittenhouse. She pressed the OnStar button and won a new 2006 Chevy Silverado!
On Friday, June 24th, Bergey’s hosted our two GM Hot Button Prizewinners. They were photographed with vehicles similar to those which they won. Delivery of the actual vehicles will occur sometime in late summer/early fall.
Bergey’s is very pleased to have two winners out of only 1,000 winners nationwide, and wishes the new owners the best of luck with their new vehicles!

Bergey's Helps Raise $1,280 For Quakertown Christian School
|
 FRANCONIA, PA - Bergey's Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Franconia helped raise $1,280 for Quakertown Christian School with its Art of Driving School Fundraiser. The fundraising event was held on May 14 in conjunction with Quakertown Christian School's 46th Annual Spring Spectacular & Auction.
Chrysler donated $50 toward the expenses involved in hosting the event and $5 for each vehicle test drive completed with an evaluation form. Bergey's Chrysler Jeep Dodge donated additional money by matching the amount raised. A Chrysler Town & Country, Chrysler Pacifica and Chrysler 300 were provided for parents and friends to test drive and evaluate. Bergey's Chrysler Jeep Dodge supplied the vehicles and volunteers from the dealership were on hand to assist in this fundraising activity. "The Art of Driving School Fundraiser is a mutually beneficial program. We're pleased to support a local school, and enjoy demonstrating a great product," said Brad Fox, Sales Manager of Bergey's Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Bergey's Tire and Auto Dealerships Donate $3,850 To DARE
|
 FRANCONIA, PA - Bergey's Tire Service, Bergey's Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Bergey’s Buick GMC in Franconia donated one dollar for every tire sold and ten dollars for every new car and truck sold in the month of November to the Franconia Township D.A.R.E. Programs (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) as part of their ongoing effort to serve their local communities. Bergey’s Tire, Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Buick GMC in Franconia handed a check for $2,700 to Franconia Township DARE Program. The Franconia Township D.A.R.E. Program benefits the Franconia, West Broad Street, Oak Ridge and Vernfield Elementary Schools. The remaining $1,150 was distributed to the New Britain and Abington DARE programs by the Bergey’s Tire & Auto Centers in their respective communities
Bergey’s has donated $40,112 to local DARE programs since 1994. Local DARE programs receive very little funding other than donations from their communities. Local DARE Police Officers hold periodic classroom presentations at local elementary schools. Students receive coloring booklets and manuals in the classrooms. Bergey’s donation helps to fund the program expenses.
